That they go in alien like bathrooms that is like a elevator taking them down to a basement level surrounded by soundproof glass and at the end of the day lets everything out!! Maybe I got the whole plot wrong, but I remember that the T-dolls Griffin uses are decommissioned civilian dolls. you know like maids, waitress and um other stuff. So it would make sense that these T-Dolls could eat. Anything to keep the immersion you're talking to a real woman and not a robot.

After looking it up I'm pretty sure the anime got something wrong or explained it very badly. I was right with my first reply about the civil variant. The T-Dolls you see in the anime are all decommissioned civilian dolls. I imagine the robots used in World War III are looking a lot more close to actual soldiers. Don't know if the anime will ever show them but the new Military variant looks like super buff future soldiers.

NGL, not the best anime this season, and certainly not the highlight of my Fridays.

However, this DOES serve as a good ol' plate of rolls and butter before the main event that is Takagi-san S3, Vanitas, and World's End Harem, so this gets a pass for me. XD

This would make a great FPS game like CoD or Valorant, with a mix of ML as player gameplay is dependent on the doll you use, and you can use multiple of the same dolls to form strategies or maybe invoke special skills.
